I was alone. I watched some indie movie two times in a row without barely moving except for eating, and the dog was out of sight out of mind. I skipped my meds and I smelled old rotting beer, that wasn’t even my own. I was taking out the recycling and it followed me because it spilled out onto my flannel shirt an I’m alone and I turned on an old song and I smelled my rabbit’s dirty cage and looked upon a mountain of dirty dishes and as I turned on the sink and took a deep breath I had found my character again and she told me the ending.
